Due to our genre being Social Realism, which we hope we can use to express issues such as drugs and prostitution, we believe our target audience should be teenagers/young adults as we believe these types of issues would be more relatable to that age group. To make sure that this target audience best suits our genre and ideas we decided to ask our focus group what target audience they believed suits our short film the best.
The group agreed with us, and therefore we came to the conclusion that young adults, aged 15 - 22, would be the age group best suited to our genre of social realism and within our short film.
